we shred for sathan.

I picked this guy up at utopia earlier today (well, as it's 2:40 am, yesterday). This is the seventh studio album released by Austrian blackened death band Belphegor. I don't know much at all about them, aside from the fact that this record boasts one of the most intriguing album titles of 2008, Bondage Goat Zombie. That's probably what first got me to listen to them, and thankfully, it's their music that kept me hooked. This album takes influence from a vast array of places and the band i'd probably most liken it to is Behemoth. Although there are obvious satanic intentions to their lyrics especially, upon reading them and examining the artwork, I find it very hard to believe that these are at all serious. All in all though, the music is awesome, as is the package. It's the gatefold version pressed by Nuclear Blast records, with the music itself on "nuclear green" wax. Take a look at the artwork for some laughs.
