it's alive! wait, no...

This will be my first non-music related post, but it still fits in with the whole collection thing. Featured here is my insect collection, a recent university assignment for entomology. Although I'm sure I incorrectly identified a whole bunch of them, there are some pretty cool insects here. included are Blattodea (cockroaches), Diptera (flies, mosquitoes, etc), Hemiptera (true bugs, aphids, plant hoppers, etc), Hymenoptera (bees, wasps, ants), Lepidoptera (butterflies and moths), Coleoptera (beetles), Orthoptera (grasshoppers, locusts, crickets, etc) and lonely Odonata (dragonflies, damselflies) and Neuroptera (lacewings) species. Looking at it, I'm definately far from an expert, and the colour in the picture didn't come out too well, but I thought it was cool nonetheless. Click the picture for a hi-res one.
