it just laughed and i coughed blood.

I've had these two for quite a while now. They are both LP's, the latter two of their three, from Belgium's Rise and Fall. 2005's Into Oblivion was released on Reflections, whereas 2009's Our Circle is Vicious was on Deathwish Inc, owned by the artist for both of these, Jacob Bannon. The overall aesthetics of these what really appeals to me about the vinyl versions, rather than just the CD's. Both packages look incredible. IO features a gatefold sleave with some great artwork on the cover, some weird jesus vs skeleton piece on the inside and some kind of dead animal on the rear. Though I'm not 100% on the red wax with the black splatter, the sleave on this is even printed, one side having lyrics and the other a distorted band (or at least part of) photo. The second features artwork that has been my desktop background for months. Though I'm not quite as much a fan of this artwork, the wax looks incredible with a gold/white/bronze mix. I think they like bones. Enough sweating on that, the music itself is ultimately why I bought these. The former is a dirtier release comprised of metallic-hardcore-influenced, rock-and-roll-tinged hardcore while the latter is certainly cleaner and a bit more experimental (or rather less conventional?), though I think IO is my favourite of the two. I probably wouldn't know who to liken them to, so for a proper insight listen to their stuff, I recommend it.
