It just occurred to me that I'm yet to do a vinyl post on this blog, mostly because I had barely purchased any recently. Though, I did have a nice spending spree the other day. These are those that I've received thus far.
First up is three 7" records from the US fast hardcore band Outbreak. Pictured are the original pressing of their first release on Western Front records "Eaten Alive" (black), their second release and debut with Bridge 9, "You Make Us Sick" (clear red) and their 2009 release "Work To Death" (white with black streaks). I have their two LP's on the way also. Chyeah.

Next up, is a record that I was very confused with when I recieved it. This is the Sound and Fury 2009 version of Lewd Act's "Black Eye Blues", released on Deathwish. The picture gives a pretty good hint as to why I was confused. I'm under the impression that this is number 25/108, if not, out of 100, it's a tad hard to read. It is a gatefold and the inside cover spray painted. The wax is a tri-colour of orange, blue and purple.

Adding to the two Ceremony LP's I own, are these threee 7" recordings. Far right is a copy of their debut, "Ruined" (yellow), boasting tracks from their "Violence, Violence" era. In the centre is their 2007 release "Scared People" (half black, half white), following said LP release and the far left is a copy of "He-God-Has Favoured Our Undertakings", a promo released by Bridge 9 just before their second LP "Still Nothing Moves You" hit stores. Though I prefer the older of the three here, I'm really enjoying their new stuff, as mentioned previously, and hope to acquire these soon.

Excluding those I wish to post later, for various reasons, this is the last of the bunch. Paint It Black's "Amnesia" EP on brown wax. These guys were one of the bands I was really into a couple of years ago and still dig quite a bit. This is the first of two EP's released in 2009, this one by Bridge 9. I really do enjoy the minimalist artwork.
